Days 4-5 Death Valley National Park
It’s finally here! The 4-5 day Death Valley National Park trip is almost complete. We arrived on Saturday and have been exploring the park ever since.
If you are considering a trip to Death Valley, this might be the perfect itinerary for you. After starting our trip in Las Vegas, we drove 3 hours to the park entrance. From there it was a three hour drive to the park’s northern entrance, which is where we stayed the first night.
The second day of our trip we drove into the park and started our hike to Badwater Basin. It was a long but amazing hike that ended at an amazing view of the valley below. Our last stop of the day was at sunset at Furnace Creek Visitor Center, where we stayed for dinner before driving back out to see some more of the park.
On our final day in the park we woke up early and drove to Devils Postpile National Monument before continuing on to Yosemite National Park. We didn’t have time to do everything in Yosemite, but we did visit Half Dome and saw some beautiful waterfalls along the way.
